At Cranberry (trading name of Empower Digital Health (OPC) Private Limited) we are mindful that using any service embedded in the digital economy will increase your data footprint. We fully accept the responsibility that comes with safeguarding your sensitive data, such as information about your health. We are committed to achieving the highest standards of privacy and security. This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our services.
This Policy was last changed on July 30, 2024. It describes our privacy practices with respect to information collected through our websites, applications, and any other online service that links to this Privacy Policy, including any chatbots, mobile apps, websites, and online services we operate (collectively referred to as the “Sites”). - Gender
- Phone number

- Username or other relevant unique identifier
- Your Sport and Institution
2.2. Health Data
Health information may include:
- Height, Weight
- Period dates
- Symptoms and their severity level
- Medical history, medical conditions (if any)
- Athletic performance
- Lifestyle, food logs
2.3. Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Sites:
- IP Address
- Location
- Cookies and web beacon data
- Sites usage (the time and date of use, what pages you land on, how much time you spend, etc.)
- Device used (browser type, device model, operating system, etc.)
3. Use of Information
We use the information to continually improve your experience with Cranberry. We may use your information in the following ways:

We also use this data to provide you with informative features and services that are developed by us from time to time. We also use this data for providing, testing, improving, or recommending the Services. We use this data for analytics and reviews to improve the Services.

We use your health data to send you timely health information and reminders for tracking. This can be at a daily or weekly frequency.

We use this data to create personalised reports on your symptoms and performance.

Research
We use only anonymised and aggregated information for women's health research. Your individual identity will not be disclosed in any published reports or findings.
Information sharing:
- We will share Reports with coaches from your Institution. This is done as the SSF program involves the coaches along with you. Any reports containing personal information is disseminated only upon explicit consent obtained from the relevant participants in the Consent.
- In the ordinary course of business, we may employ other companies and people to assist us in providing certain components of our Services in compliance with the provisions of this Policy. To do so, we may need to share your data with them. On date of last update of this Policy, we do not use any third parties.
- We do not use your data for marketing or targeted advertising.
4. Information Retention
We securely store data on servers by Make which are GDPR compliant. On the frontend, as of date of last update of this Policy, our chatbot is powered through WhatsApp chatbots. All messages and calls are end-to-end encrypted.
Your personal data will primarily be stored in electronic form. We will store any personal data we collect from you as long as it is necessary in order to facilitate your use of the Services and for ancillary legitimate and essential business purposes – these include, without limitation, for improving our Services, attending to technical issues, and dealing with disputes.
How to Opt-Out or Correct Your Information
You may always opt-out of Cranberry Services. We provide you with the opportunity to opt-out of receiving such communications from us by clicking on the “unsubscribe” on our Sites. You may also opt out of receiving further communications from us or correct your information by sending us a message at aditi.saraswati@cranberry.fit.
5. Security of Information
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures by using a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your data from unauthorized access, use, loss, destruction or disclosure.
All users are assigned an alphanumeric identification number which is further used for all data storage. Personal Information is not used through the product except the initial onboarding and for triggering notifications
When we collect particularly sensitive data (such as a credit card number or your geo-location), it is encrypted using industry-standard cryptographic techniques including but not limited to PBKDF2, AES256, TLS1.2 & SHA256.
The collection, storage, usage, and sharing of your data by the Company shall be in compliance with the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 and other applicable laws.
We have taken appropriate steps for the security and protection of all our digital platforms including internal applications, however, we shall not be responsible for any breach of security or the disclosure of personal data for reasons outside our control, such as hacking, social engineering, cyber terrorism, espionage by third parties, or any events by way of force majeure such as sabotage, fire, flood, explosion, acts of God, civil commotion, strikes or industrial action of any kind, riots, insurrection, war or acts of government.
